When I look at the Molalla City website, I feel that either I or they are blind in the right eye as only half of
the picture comes up. Or is that the intent?.
i like our city, we have good people in molalla. i have lived and worked here my whole life, i do wish the schools were a bit better, i would like to see a new middle school in the future, the place is run down, and the education our students get is pretty poor.
To whom that may be concerned about Molalla’s future growth and
beautification.
The single community action that directed Brookings, Oregon into a today’s beautiful family Community was three(3) active-father’s, whom tired of dirt-lot Youth Baseball and organized our Brookings Program into National Little League Organization, inso gaining help

Little League Baseball was the only sport sponsered by the U.S. Senate, Interesting-Yo!
With help from five(5) mothers and three(3) fathers the governing Constitution was founded and still active.
At that time we did not understand how powerful by organizing

It required five years before we achieved the Nat’l League to
permit female team players, thus ending a Nat’l. dominate-male organization.
Try it fellow Molalliian’s, you may like it.
June and I are very proud of the fourteen+ (14+) cont. years we

We are in process of speaking with our nieghbors, about the Scott Pollution issue and requesting a concise-path that our City may find helpful.
So far our time-frame requires three+(3+) weeks for gathering everyone’s imput.
We already have a test-case that relects the expenses for partial home and property cleaning.

“ROQOLM” — Restore our Quality of Living In Molalla —
Dear Mayor (our City leader),
Let us not forget, Codes and Regulations have been developed (same way as our U.S. Constitution was founded) for the protection of a communities health, property-values and maintain-harmony with all neighbors.
Most interesting, when Polluters are documented by State Agency.
Why do they over-look the depth of Code Regulations?
Careful study of Code-para’s shall always protect the victims
from spin-doctor-tactics by lawful enforcement.
Our Mayor may be interested about seeking a solution from Clackamas County Planning as follows; Clackamas Waste Processing has been a State Leader in providing help to both-sides of POLLUTION problems.
Your initiative, awaits Honorable Mayor.
Our Petition signers all agree our Mayor (City Leader) may choose to seek Pollution Abatement as outlined by O.D.E.Q. letter to the city on Nov. 6th., 2007( being five (5) months ago) that Scott-Hyponex contiues to violate the Federal, State, County and City Clean Air Act and no obvious abatment from the dust, odors and after-hour noise that creates sleep-loss, may we suggest the City explore the benefits to annex with
Clackamas County Waste Program before the spring-time South-Winds have a chance to sweep Scott-Hyponex of pulverized loose material and depositing same material on all down-wind properties.
Clackamas County Waste Program has succeded in guiding, recommending and enforcement of Pollution Issues.
This morning’s committee meeting of “ROQOLM” decision was certain petition suportive-documents needed shall be delayed by four weeks,
Upon completion of our petiton we shall promptly deliver to Molalla City Manager for proper procedure to present same to our Mayor and Council Members for rejection or acceptance.
ANNEXATION HAS BEEN EXPLORED AND ACCEPTED BY SEVERAL OREGON CITIES, WHILE SEEKING INFORMATION HOW TO PROTECT OUR INCORPORATED CITY from present and fuiture pollution issues.

My husband’s family has lived in the Yoder/Molalla area since 1923 and because of them and their strong family heritage, my husband brought me to Molalla in 1989.
I will admit, when I first moved here, I wasn’t sure I would be able to adapt to the country lifestyle. Bear with me, but I must share a story…after only a few months, I was driving through Yoder and coming up over the hill right in front of the Yoder Store was a tractor pulling a large shed/small barn down the middle of the road. I broke out into laughter and knew I was smack dab right in the middle of the country. Where else would you see this?
Since 1989, I’ve fallen in love with this town…the city and country. My husband and I are raising our two children here. In 2007, we sold the family farm in Yoder and were deciding where to live. We actually considered going back to my roots in Canby or Oregon City…but our children told us, “You can move there if you want…but…we are staying in Molalla.” Well, that sealed the deal and we became city dwellers.
What do we think of the City of Molalla? We think it’s wonderful.
Do we think there are areas of improvement? Absolutely.
* We’d like to see more park and recreational opportunities for the youth and adults.
* Now that we live in the city, we’d like an ‘Off Leash Dog Park’, a place for other city dwellers to take their canines for social time. You never know what you had until you move from acreage in the country to a lot in town.
* With two school age children, and seeing first hand the conditions of Molalla River Middle School, we speak from current experience and knowledge that Molalla residents need to approve a new middle school bond. The residents cannot continue to overlook the real issues, it’s time to give back to the youth and give them a school to be proud of. The residents in Canby, Estacada and Oregon City recognize the need and value education…Molalla’s youth are just as deserving.
I will step down off the soap box. =)
Molalla has so much potential with the right leadership. Consider this the next election.
Wasted potential is the name for Molalla – far too much focus is on “what if” and far to little on what is actually realistic. If the planners would focus on small improvements a little at a time, directed by true community vision there could be a better city. As it is now the city is not moving ahead like other local cities which take thing a bit at a time to lead to better urban centers. Molalla wants to ignore the messes.
